“The best way to predict the future is to create it.”

Abraham Lincoln

My Story

My story begins with a little girl who learned to stay safe by hiding behind locked doors of isolation and solitude.  I was truly longing for connection and intimacy but all I knew how to do was protect myself by keeping everyone out. Through the power of story work, I was able to embrace this story as one of great survival, but of limited provision. It takes great courage to step beyond the proverbial locked doors. AND it is the path to the flourishing life of intimacy and connection that I am longing for. We all have stories of survival and when we embrace these stories, we can open doors to a future beyond expectation.

Coaching was a natural progression of my professional life. I have been pursuing a profession as a wounded healer since my undergrad in Psychology. I am fascinated by people and relationships and how the mind works. Life has brought a variety of experiences to me from nearly 15 years of marriage, traversing many large obstacles along the way, working at a group home for adolescent girls, Directing a preschool, raising and homeschooling 3 children and coaching in workshops across the country.

My Approach

I believe that every person has the potential to live a fulfilling and purposeful life. My coaching approach is centered around helping my clients unlock the future they are longing for by courageously telling the stories of grief that have shaped their lives. We will utilize story work, IFS (internal family systems or parts work) and identifying your survival strategies (attachment & other strategies).  I incorporate breath and body work as a key modality to my coaching. We will discuss your true longing and desires, identify your values and goals and create actionable steps towards your outcome.

My Training

I received my coaching training through my apprenticeship at Reinvent Ministries, the Leadership Coaching Academy through Naming the Real and Jane Perry Coaching and have my Integrative Somatic Parts Work certification through the Embody Lab and currently hold a Level 2 certification. The newest addition to my practice is as a certified breath work and nervous system integration coach through the Inner Power Institute. As a life long learner, I typically read 50+ non-fiction books a year centered on neuroscience, attachment and all things psychology.

"When the breath is unsteady, all is unsteady; when the breath is still; all is still. Control the breath carefully. Inhalation gives strength and a controlled body; retention gives steadiness of mind and longevity; exhalation purifies body and spirit." ~Goraksasathakam

What happy clients are saying about Taylor...

"Taylor is amazing. She really helped me work through my grief and guilt. It will always be with me, but she gave me some wonderful coping skills. We talked about where the grief sits in your body and how to slow down to work with the grief and embrace the grief. She really listens and truly cares, she is a wonderful coach."

Elizabeth Freeburg

Investment Manager

"Every aspect of my life has been positively affected by my coaching with Taylor.

She is highly intuitive, listens patiently, and asks well thought out questions.

I appreciate how much of her own time she takes to learn more about coaching and how brains work… as a client I feel fortunate to be coached by someone who puts in such hard work - on screen and off screen."

Lindsay H.

"Taylor has that unique combination of life experience, expertise, personality, and skill that makes for an outstanding coach. In particular, her capacity to move between the thoroughly practical (e.g., specifically, what’s next) and the therapeutic (e.g., guiding IFS work) has made her a perfect partner in my transformational journey."
